Child Custody and Visitation
In California, the custody of children is always decided 'in the best interest of the child.' Among the issues I handle within this sensitive area are custody evaluations, paternity, sole custody, joint custody, grandparent visitation and custody, and 'move-away' cases related to the Burgess decision of 1996.
Spousal Support/Child Support
There are several factors that can go into determining the amount of spousal and child support required. I help people establish the child support guideline amount, paternity, the marital standard of living, child and spousal support payments, support reductions, changes in income, support modifications, and enforcement.
Domestic Violence
The need to feel safe, especially in one's own home, is vital. I know how to deal with these tough issues and can help you with restraining orders, conduct restraint, no-contact orders, stay-away orders, residence exclusion, property restraints, violence and threatened violence, spousal abuse, child abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and more.
Pre/Post-Nuptial Agreements and Modifications
Life circumstances change, sometimes quickly, and previous agreements often need to be changed with them. I can help you with support modifications, family law orders, custody orders, changes in income, visitation changes, orders to show cause, spousal support waivers, and other types of modification orders and actions.
